My parents get pumped up about seeing me on the top screen

Kriti Sanon has done five films so far, and just like other stars, her excitement on the day of the film's release is high. Even so, Kriti says that really her parents who are far more enthusiastic than she is.

"My parents are more excited, than nervous. I do believe they get excited about seeing myself on the big display screen, after all the offers and everything. In reality, they get super fired up as soon as the trailer of the film comes out, " says Kriti.

The 26-year-old actor or actress will be seen opposing Sushant Singh Rajput in her next film, Raabta and just like her previous movies, Kriti would like to be with her family on the first day of the film. "Since my parents are here [in Mumbai] with me, so they have been there for all my film's releases. Honestly, I like it like that, and My spouse and i prefer that they watch the film beside me [only], " adds the actor, who made her debut with Heropanti (2014) alongside actor Tiger Shroff and was later seen in Dilwale (2015) contrary Varun Dhawan.

But unlike her parents, Kriti says she goes through combined thoughts on the day of the release. "I'm quite nervous and enthusiastic at the same time. I think one is certain to be nervous since it is the first day of the film, and you're anxiously waiting around for folks to respond to something that you have worked very hard for. The film's fate lies in the hands of the audience, " says Kriti, adding that she's also quite eager and inquisitive to really know what people think of the film. "You want to see how people interact with it. We don't think too much about it and really nothing like I get sleep deprived nights on the release day, " states.
